Scandivac? never heard of them
Well you are not alone, Scandivac is relatively new in Australia but they are most definitely not new to the rest of the world boasting over 25 years experience manufacturing high quality thermoformers, tray sealers (MAP packers) and other additional equipment.
Scandivac machines are custom designed to meet each individual customers needs before being built in Latvia to the highest standards.
What about spare parts?
No Problem! this is potentially the most refreshing thing about this brand, there is genuine transparency regarding the componentry used in building their machines.
In most cases the manual lists the supplier name, supplier part number as well as a generic description making sourcing parts locally a breeze.
Scandivac uses a Festo control system and pneumatics and electrical components from Schneider electric.
The manual and schematics supplied with the machines are comprehensive and easy to follow making fault finding easier than with other similar high end packaging machines.
but, who can i call if i need support?
A great question, unlike other brands sold in South Australia who have no or very little technical knowledge or support, Scandivac has two experienced technicians based within the state. One is based in the Adelaide CBD and one in the northern regions not to mention another 6 based in Queensland, this ensures you will never be without support.
